Firefighters Let Scared Girl Paint Their Nails | Photos

Firefighters Invite Scared Girl to Paint Their Nails Pink and Purple After She Was in a Car Crash

When two Utah-based firefighters arrived at the scene of a car accident last weekend, they attended to a "very scared" young girl who'd been involved in the crash, while her mother was being seen by medics. Chief Allen Hadley and Captain Kevin Lloyd of the North Davis Fire District of West Point noticed the girl hadn't been harmed by the accident, but was reasonably frightened. Dads themselves, they jumped into action to immediately soothe her.

"After noticing the child was holding bottles of fingernail polish, these two officers started talking to her about her polish and asked her if she would paint their nails," the station wrote on Facebook. "Within minutes, the child was calmly paining their nails and had forgotten about the accident she had just experienced. Great job Chief Hadley and Captain Lloyd for providing awesome customer service to one of our young citizens."

These two first responders certainly went above and beyond, and it's a marvelous displayed of the impact a little patience and kindness can make.
