While we're all waiting patiently for Frozen Fever to show before Cinderella in theaters this Friday, Disney has announced some huge plans: Frozen 2 is officially on the way. The news was announced at the company's annual shareholders meeting in San Francisco, along with the release date for Star Wars: Episode VIII and the title of the new Star Wars standalone film. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who directed the first film, will return to direct the sequel, as will producer Peter Del Vecho. "We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters," said John Lasseter, Disney's chief creative officer, at the meeting. "Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel, and you will be hearing a lot more about it, and we're taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that." As are we! Stay tuned for more details and a release date.
