According to InStyle, Carrie's net worth hit $55 million in 2018 and has only been climbing since then!
As you probably suspect, the majority of Carrie's impressive net worth has come from her music career over the years. When her sixth album, Cry Pretty, came out in 2018, Billboard reported that she had just hit an important milestone: she became the first woman to bring four country albums to the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. Her previous chart-toppers contributing to that record were Blown Away (2012), Play On (2009), and Carnival Ride (2007). This put her ahead of any other female country artist; Taylor Swift had more albums top the charts, but not all of them counted as country, which allowed for Carrie to take this particular title.
Her earnings started right off the bat after her American Idol win in 2005 and escalated quickly. Forbes ranked her at No. 11 on its 2007 list of top-earning young celebrities, with an income that year of $7 million. Along with her music, Carrie has pulled in the dollars from other sources as well. Like many A-list stars, she's snagged quite a few major endorsements and brand partnerships. Most notably, she launched CALIA, her own line of athleisure wear, in 2016, and she secured a deal with major sporting retailer Dick's Sporting Goods.
