The theme on BCBG Max Azria's Spring 2014 runway? Creating the "ideal" look. The focus was beautiful waves and luminous skin, keeping the models looking cool, effortless, yet put-together. We went backstage before the show to interview Laurent Philippon, lead stylist for Bumble and Bumble, who wrapped the hair around a curling iron to achieve those picture-perfect waves. Lead makeup artist Val Garland for Sephora Pro created an androgynous look and glowing skin, plus contoured the face using Marc Jacobs Beauty Perfection Powder Featherweight Foundation in darker shades instead of a bronzer.
